Mavs' Cuban fined again

01/16/2009 - New York, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Friday for his actions during Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets.

Cuban protested a non-call on an apparent elbow thrown by Denver's J.R. Smith just before halftime. The vocal owner then went onto the court after the game to argue with the officials, after a questionable blocking call on Dallas awarded Nuggets guard Chauncey Billups the eventual game-winning free throws in a 99-97 Mavericks loss.

The league issued a warning to teams before the 2006-07 season that club personnel would not be tolerated on the floor or in huddles during the game.

Cuban has been dealt numerous fines since taking over the Mavs, most notably a $250,000 penalty for his verbal abuse of the officials following Game 5 of the 2006 NBA Finals between Dallas and the Miami Heat.
